Apple finally revealed it's "masterpiece" the ipad after years of speculation and curiousity and what a JOKE that device is. After following up with what had happened in Apple's convention and Steve's talked mockingly of the netbooks stating that they are better than nothing and they're just cheap. Well, he got that right, but what does Apple have to offer in response to the increasing market share of such devices?!! well practically nothing, they just come up with a useless device that's basically an iphone enlarged; it's an iphone with ALL its flaws. Steve said that the ipad offers the best browsing experience... WHAT?!! do you know that the ipad doesn't support flash?! meaning that you can't watch any videos on the web!! how crazy is that?! not to mention that it doesn't have a USB port and it's not even suitable for word processing. The list goes on actually, you can check cnet.com for more of the ipad's shocking flaws. On another note, google's demonstration of the long awaited Chrome OS was disappointing on so many levels. Turning a web browser into an OS is the stupidest idea ever!! it would've worked though if chrome was the browser that showed some real innovation, a browser that is built on a completely different idea other than the annoying "tabs" system. If they had actually thought of a brand new browser interface that is far more complex to enable it to carry out many functions, yet pretty simple for users to use. It feels like technology giants these days are running out of ideas..... it could be!!

"It's just tall... Dubai's going down!"
Many people may see The Burj Khalifa as a waste of money and effort. Others may see it as as the resemblence of a "used to be-famous" Dubai. Well, I look at it from a different perspective; to me it resembles the start of a new decade and the start of a new chapter in human civilizaion. People should start being optimistic for a change; the vast amount of pessimism spread through the media really shocked; was this an analytic look into Dubai's future or was it just jealousy
